SPECIAL EVENT November 7

The ARINC ARC will be activating a special event station on November 7th from 08:00 to 17:00 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of ARINC, INC. and the fact that the club call sign, W3ZH was formerly the call sign of Herbert Hoover Jr. Hoover was a founder of ARINC, a past president of ARRL, and the son of US President Herbert Hoover. The primary station will be the station at ARINC headquarters in Annapolis, MD, but the other satellite facilities my also activate a station using the call sign W3ZH/#. ARINC ARC will be issuing a special certificate / QSL along with the standard ARINC ARC QSL card. For more information, contact Kurt Fritsch WA3TOY at arswa3toy@verizon.net.
