4UxUN. UN Head- quarters station 4U64UN is active until mid November in celebration of the 64th annual UN General Assembly. Activity is on all bands and modes. QSL via HB9BOU.
CHINA, BY.
David, BA4DW/4 is QRV from Dongxilian Island, AS-135. He is active holiday style on 20 meters. QSL to home call.
SOUTH GEORGIA ISLANDS.
Lars, MM0DWF is QRV as VP8DIF from Husvik on South Georgia, IOTA AN-007, until mid November. Activity is on the HF bands using CW, SSB and RTTY in his spare time. QSL via DJ9ZB.
CAMBODIA, XU.
Pete, NO2R is QRV as XU7ACY for at least a year. Heis active on 40 meters using CW and will soon be active on 160 and 80 meters as well. This includes being entries in both upcoming CQWW contests. QSL via W2EN.
ZIMBABWE, Z2.
Mikhail, RW3AJX is here on work assignment for two to three years. He is licensed as Z23MS and is active on 80 to 10 meters using SSB. He may be active using PSK as well. QSL viaUA3DX.
ANTARCTICA.
Station R1ANB from the Nirny Base club has been active on 40 meters around 1330z. QSL via RN1ON.
OPERATIONS APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.
The following operations areapproved for DXCC credit: Nigeria, 5N0EME, 2009 operation; Nigeria, 5N0OCH, current operation (logs in LoTW); and Angola, D2QMN, current operation.
Angola Operation Approved for DXCC
ARRL DXCC Manager Bill Moore, NC1L, reports that the current Angola operation — D2QMN — has been approved for DXCC credit. “If you had cards that were recently rejected for this operation, please send an e-mail to the ARRL DXCC Desk and you will be placed on the list for update,” Moore said.

FM sats from Antartica for VK and ZL
Bill Erhardt, K7MT, will be deploying back to McMurdo Station Antarctica Nov 15, 2009 - Feb 20, 2010. Bill reports that he will be active from KC4USV Sundays 0000 GMT on SSB. He has also received requests from Europe to come in early around 1800 GMT on Saturdays so they can work Antarctica. Equipment will include a rigblaster for PSK-31 on 14.070 and CW on 14.043 if time permits. Bill is also taking an Arrow II antenna/Kenwood TH-7 to work the FM satellites to VK and ZL land. Finally, if Bill can get it operational, APRS VHF to HF with a Kam Plus. VK6CO will help with HF 30 meters with their HF APRS parameters. You just might see Bill driving out on the Ross Ice Sea as K7MT-7 in Ivan the Terra Bus. Pictures and information will be available on Bill's home web page at: http://www.mt.net/~k7mt.
