Some Thoughts!
The FCC finally went and did it! They did away with
the Morse Code requirement altogether. I don't agree.
Even the minimal 5 wpm requirement is better than
none at all. I guess we old timers must realize that the
digital modes replace CW and the FCC is just falling
in line with the times. Also, let's hope they back off on
the BPL stuff and are fair to ALL spectrum users.
With hamfest season almost upon us, we remind you
to support amateur radio clubs and attend as many
hamfests as you can.
