Australians celebrate 2006 Commonwealth Games
The Australian Communications and Media Authority has given the Wireless Institute of Australia the green
light to use the AX prefix to celebrate the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne . The AX prefix can
now be used by all Australian radio amateurs for the
period from 1-31 March 2006.
