The disasters in Southeast Asia have really been helped by ham radio, in many ways: the provision of emergency communications, the handling of health and welfare traffic, etc. It is time for us to blow our own horn. If we, as hams, don't promote ham radio, who will? The BRATS, as a club, has always participated in public service events and activities, especially to promote public safety.
